We stayed in Trevi nel Lazio for two nights and ate here both times because it was so good! The food is delicious, especially the desserts, and the owners were very kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're visiting the area.

I stumbled upon here by chance and found myself extremely satisfied with the dining experience. The dishes are tasty and plentiful. The prices are not very low but are fully justified by the quality. The service was quick. Very clean and well kept place.(I'm sorry for the comparison in the photo between Fanta and first courses, but we had to replenish sugar along the way)

Excellent welcome and everything very attentive and professional. Delicious and soft gnocchi with meat sauce. Excellent second courses and side vegetables cooked to perfection.The attention to detail in the kitchen is also demonstrated by a very refined presentation.In summary, excellent value for money.

Excellent dishes, quality raw materials and a different choice of first and second courses. There were 12 of us and we were all very satisfied with the dinner and the kindness of the staff. The attention to the customer with various unexpected precautions and the speed of the service pleasantly surprised us while remaining in a comfortable and informal atmosphere.Nice and welcoming place. We had a great time, I highly recommend it!!

We keep closing our eyes to relive our two excellent meals at Il Girasole. We are food snobs and couldn’t get enough of their food and attention. The chef and employees all patiently helped us with our choices as we are still slowly learning Italian. Amazing, fresh, wonderful food. The fungi, wild boar, local fish, and desserts were incredible! Wish I could teleport there now!

Typical cuisine of the Lazio mountains ranging from river fish to the Ciociaria tradition. Quick service, small but very nice environment, reservations recommended. Run by a couple of very kind and attentive gentlemen. I recommend the classic gnocchi with meat sauce and also their homemade ricotta and spinach ravioli with lemon cream as first courses, and as a second course another classic such as tripe with sauce; but the real strong point are the homemade desserts, in particular the tarts and wine donuts, as well as the spirits that are prepared directly by them with sour cherries or blackberries.
